JSA 10
Ibanez JSA10 Story
In 2010, Joe Satriani released the Ibanez JSA10, the first acoustic JSA Series with the JSA5. The mahogany JSA neck has been designed to feel like an electric guitar, built like a jumbo’s but on a medium scale, and that’s a very important feature for Joe, so he can easily change between his electric and acoustic guitars when he’s on stage.
Like the JSA5, the cutaway gives you a great access to its upper frets for soloing. The back and sides of the body are made of rosewood with a solid Engelmann spruce top, and give an highly expressive and warm acoustic tone. The JSA10 features a Fishman Matrix pickup and an Ellipse VT preamp give this acoustic-electric guitar a great dynamic range and projection, especially for outstanding live performance.
