JS 1600

Ibanez JS1600 Story

The Ibanez JS1600 is the last hard-tail JS guitar produced by Ibanez and it is based on the JS6, the first hard-tail model. Like the JS6 it has a mahogany body, the same Gotoh GTC101 bridge and a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The PAF Pro and the FRED are getting back on the pickup side.

JS1600PSV offers the stylistic and sonic alternative of a mahogany body with a fixed bridge and locking tuners.

Ibanez.

The JS1600 introduces a new finish in the JS guitars history, the Premium Silver, but the head still hadd the wood finish it’s parent, the JS6. The body shape is stlighty thinner, the beautiful abalone dots replaced the pearly dots. This guitar has been sold all over the world during his two year production run, except in Japan.
