JS 2400L

Ibanez JS2400L Story

The JS2400L is the second lefty model in the JS history. Ibanez introduced this model in 2013, three years after the JS2400 release. 2013 was also the year Joe and Ibanez introduced the Ultralite Tremolo Arm, that since then features on every JS prestige model, the JS1200, JS2400 and JS2410, and later on the JS2450.

The JS2400L is a carbon copy of the JS2400. On the wood side, this guitar featured a basswood body, a maple neck with 24 frets and a rosewood fretboard. On the electronic side, the JS2400L had a DiMarzio Pro Track to the neck and a Mo’ Joe to the bridge. Both humbucker pickups could be transformed to single coil by activating the coil-tap system on the tone pot and a high-pass filter could be activated the same way on the volume control in order to preserve hi-frequencies when the volume is turned down.

By making this guitar, Ibanez gave the left handed players the possibility to play on the next generation of JS signature guitars.
