JS 2000
Ibanez JS2000 Story
The JS2000 is a dream come true. Look at this beautiful CG Champagne Gold color! As its name implies, this guitar was produced in 2002. It is the 5th hard-tail JS guitar produced by Ibanez.
The bridge is a fixed version of the Lo Pro Edge tremolo, also known as the FX Edge. Most of the hard-tail JS guitars were made of mahogany, (except for the JS600) so the JS2000 is quite a JS1000 with its DiMarzio PAF Pro and FRED pickups, its abalone dots and 6105 frets inlayed in the rosewood fingerboard JS Prestige neck and of course its basswood body.
In 2004 Ibanez ended up the JS2000 production. We had to wait 4 year to the see an other hard-tail guitar come up, that was the JS1600 in 2008.
