Ibanez JSA5 Story
In 2010, Joe Satriani released the first acoustic JS series, the JSA5 and the JSA10. At this moment, both had the BK Black finish but four years later the JSA5 took its VB Vintage Burst finish of the JSA20. The neck has been designed to feel like an electric guitar and that’s a very important feature for Joe, so he can easily change between his electric and acoustic guitars when he’s on stage.

The JSA5 features the Fishman Presys pickup system you’ll have amazing dynamic plugged-in tone, plus exceptional tone shaping too. There are bass, mid, and treble tone controls so you can dial in your ideal sound. There’s also a built-in tuner on the JSA5‘s Fishman Presys pickup system to make sure you’re always ready to play your best. The Solid Engelmann spruce top provides exceptional balance and projection, and will sound even better with age, the body features a cutaway for an esay access to higher frets.
