JS 1200L
Ibanez JS1200L Story
The JS1200L is a carbon copy of the JS1200 and was released in 2009. The left-handed guitar players were looking for an Ibanez JS guitar to play on for decades, so Ibanez made their dreams come true! They simply took the benchmark at the time, the JS1200. Ibanez released a few in 2009 in order to test the demand. It was a success and in 2011 they did it again by releasing this guitar and two years later its sister the JS2400 with the JS2400L.
His friend and old student Steve Vai also issued a lefty model of the JEM7V the same year, named JEM7VL.
The PAF Joe and the FRED DiMarzio pickups feature on this guitar together with the Edge Pro tremolo but from the 2011 release it was replaced by the original Edge, Satch’s favourite. The left-handed guitar players can now make their audience dream a lot with this CA Candy Apple color, that’s called equality!
